The team at UR Stable is made up of hands-on professional horsemen and women
with decades of experience. At every point, in each of our beloved horses training regimen we
prepare them to succeed on the racetrack. Together, we have been helping clients with their equine
portfolios across the country and around the world since the mid 80’s.
Managing Partner Susan Kayne, has been delivering the real story throughout her successful career
as a life-long equestrian and host of the award-winning TV series Unbridled. She is privy to the latest
trends and breakthroughs in the industry and has the experience to know what to watch out for.
Susan, along with her husband Andrew Elsbree, a Certified Journeyman Farrier, oversee the daily
care and riding of all UR horses on the farm in the Hudson Valley. See You Tube Videos.
At the track, we try to match each horse with best trainer to develop his or her maximum racing
potential. Carlos Martin trains UR Team at Belmont and Saratoga. Carlos is honest, hard-working,
and takes special individual care of each horse....much like his father Jose Martin, who trained Susan's
first winner Aequanimitas with Angel Cordero, Jr., in the irons! Read more in the DRF.

together we can kick-up our heels and celebrate our horse's accomplishments. There are no mark-ups, no
