Thanks for visiting UR Stable’s home on the web. In 2006, my dream of UR Stable became a reality and
opened the doorway to the Sport of Kings for everyone that truly loves horses and enjoys thoroughbred
racing. We deliver the best value to our partners by breeding our own strong, sound horses eligible to
compete in lucrative State-Bred programs, earning added purse money and breeder awards. The value
of UR bloodstock is therefore backed by what they can earn on the racetrack, rather than by arbitrary
fluctuations in sales markets.In the past two years, UR Stable has grown to a few dozen partners and
many beloved thoroughbreds on the farm and at the track.
UR Stable is by no means a traditional partnership. We do not participate in the commercial sales arena,
instead, our horses are home-breds. This realizes the best economy of scale for our owners and we know
from conception to the finish line every detail of each horse. We do not push our babies to be one-race
wonders as two-year-olds; they are bred to be big, sound, strong animals built and pedigreed for longevity
at the track. UR Stable employs the most conscientious trainers in the industry, and places UR horses
where they can win.
UR Stable is value-based and I am a partner in every horse, personally selecting each prospect and
determining value by each horse’s potential to earn purse money, breeder’s awards, and/or produce sales
in excess of UR Stable’s purchase price and expenses for that particular horse. I treat the investment of my
partners as careful as my own because it is my own. Unlike most speculation in today's world, there is no
benefit for me not to be as straight-forward, passionate, and involved as possible.
Unlike most partnerships, there are no management or administrative fees charged to partners in UR
Stable. We make our money breeding and racing NY-Bred horses! This formula has proven successful
and profitable throughout my lifetime in the thoroughbred industry.
I consider it a privilege to be involved with horses everyday, and have had the benefit of learning all things
thoroughbred from great horsemen and woman. It is my pleasure to share these experiences with every
partner in UR Stable, and it is my sincerest hope that every person associated with UR will be enriched,
enthralled, and delighted by the joy of owning, breeding, and racing thoroughbreds.
