REMARKABLE HORSES.  PASSIONATE PEOPLE.  THOROUGHBRED-OWNERSHIP REDEFINED.  1-877-WINS-BIG
In the words of Gandhi, it is my goal to be the change I want to see in the thoroughbred world, that is to create a truly better quality
of life for thoroughbreds in
every stage of their life cycle. Horses are living, feeling, beautiful, and willing creatures;
they trust us and do what we ask of them to the best of their ability.
When horses are
selectively mated for strong bone, stamina, soundness and durability, holistically raised with
hands-on care, love, balanced nutrition, and hoofcare,
then, and only then, are they "bred to race". - Susan Kayne
Susan Kayne has been in love with horses as far back as she can remember and has cultivated a
life to celebrate them; her earliest memory is that of Canonero II winning the Kentucky Derby in
1971.

As a teenager, Susan worked as an exercise rider at the Saratoga Racecourse and continued the
same for top trainers Todd Pletcher, Bill Mott, and Christophe Clement through 2005. At 17, Kayne
partnered in her first racing venture with the group that bought Skip Trial for $70,000 -- the bay
colt went on to earn $1,837,451. Since then, Kayne has acted in various capacities for owners, and
been involved with the careers of Circle of Light ($305, 975), Finder's Reward ($171, 006),
Jabotinsky ($123,892),  Joy Hoy ($68,176), Lucifer's Stone ($405, 991), Sovereign Rullah ($100,000+),
and Tax The Queen ($166,085).

In the 1980's HRH Queen Elizabeth II recognized Kayne's excellence in horsemanship with an
invitation to the Royal Enclosure at Royal Ascot, often regarded as the world's most prestigious
race meet. Kayne has frequently participated as an owner, buyer, and seller at international tracks
and thoroughbred auctions, such as Deauville (France), Newmarket (England), Galway, Goffs, and
The Curragh (Ireland).During this time and into adulthood, she also won many jumping
championships aboard ex-racehorses on the 'A' show circuit training with Olympic Medal-winner
Neal Shapiro and High Jump Champion Anthony D'Ambrosio, Jr.

More recently, Kayne's career includes TV media developed around horses. Susan has hosted many
live shows for the Capital OTB Network, served as a features reporter for the Outdoor Life
Network, and is often called upon for expert equine commentary by a variety of news outlets,
professional panels, and educational institutions. Her body of work includes award-winning
interviews with many famous names in the thoroughbred world -- Linda Rice, Todd Pletcher, Bill
Mott, Jean-Luc Samyn, Bobby Frankel, Merv Griffin, Neil Howard, Dermot Weld, Johnny Murtaugh,
Jorge Velasquez, and Jonathan Shepperd to name a few. Her signature series Unbridled is on HRTV.

Kayne loves to share the joy of horses with audiences whether speaking at major equine venues or
introducing a child on a field trip to the pleasure of touching a horse for the very first time.

In addition to horses, her interests are organic farming, animal welfare, vegan living, neuroscience,
linquistics, and poker.  Susan appeared on Fox Sports as a featured player in the Best Damn Poker
Show.
