UR Stable's farm (pictured) located in southern Albany County, is conducive to raising
strong-boned, competitive NY-Breds. We deliver big, sound, solid equine athletes
through breeding and racing partnerships. As participants in the New York Breeding and
Racing Program UR Partners are eligible to share in over $60,000,000 per year in the
form of incentives, breeder awards, stallion awards, owner awards, and purse money
distributed by the New York State Thoroughbred Breeding and Development Fund
(NYTBDF) designated exclusively for New York-bred horses.

NY-Breds in New York are running for some of the richest purses in the nation.

In 2008 --

NY-Breds won 131 stakes

events and foals born in NY

earned over

$81 million

throughout the US and the world.

The NYTBDF paid

$6,817,331 to breeders

of registered NY-Breds.A breeder is the

owner of a mare at the time she foals in New York State.

The NYTBDF distributed

$2,133,913 in stallion owner awards

. These awards are

paid to owners of registered NY-based covering stallions.

The NYTBDF paid

$1,388,649 to owners

of registered NY-Breds who earned purse

money in open-company races.
